Students discuss global careers at lunchtime talk

Updated Jun. 25, 2019
On June 19, 2019, Doshisha Business School held a lunchtime talk event for Japanese undergraduate students on campus who are interested in pursuing a global career or international MBA experience. After a brief introduction of our program, four Doshisha Global MBA students presented on their experiences working in the U.S., Japan, Russia, and South Korea and spoke about their studies at Doshisha Business School. In the group work session, Japanese students had a chance to ask Global MBA students about business manners specific to their cultures and the students discussed the differences and similarities they discovered. After the group work session, Global MBA students took the undergraduate students on a mini tour of our business school and all the participants enjoyed lunch together.

We were pleased to be able to hold this event to provide Japanese undergraduate students with an opportunity to interact with our diverse student body and learn about our program. We would like to thank everyone who joined us for this event and we look forward to continuing to provide our students with opportunities to bridge the gaps between cultures.
