Assoc. Prof. Okudaira contributes to The Nikkei

Updated Oct. 23, 2018
Associate Professor Hiroko Okudaira (Doshisha Business School, Global MBA) contributed to an article exploring the regulations related to job-hunting in Japan in the October 22 (Mon.) issue of the Japan Economics Newspaper (known as "The Nikkei"). In her article, Prof. Okudaira argues that it is necessary to examine whether rules regarding the start of the job-hunting cycle for students have produced positive results for students and companies, and emphasizes the need for deeper discussion about methods for improving job matching.

The article is available on the Nikkei website (registration or login required to read the full article), as well in print in yesterday's paper.
