He is currently Research Fellow at the Said Business School at the University of Oxford and Emeritus Professor at Aston University. He has a Litt.D. from Cambridge University, an MA/BA (Economics Tripos) also from Cambridge, an MSc from London School of Economics (LSE), and a Dip.Pol Econ.Sc. from Ruskin College, Oxford. He has held tenured positions at the London School of Economics, at London Business School and was Professor and Head of Strategic Management and Technology Policy at Aston Business School.
