Prior to joining the Foreign Language Education Center at Okayama University, he was a full-time instructor of English at the Institute for Language and Culture in Doshisha University. In the past he has taught English Modules focusing on Business English, writing, presentation negotiation and TOEIC preparation at Kanda Gaigo Career College in Tokyo. He has also held posts at the Faculty of Letters in Chiba University and at the Language Center of Rikkyo University in Tokyo.
