He has spent 23 years working as an international businessman and during that time has visited 38 countries all over the world. He has had business dealings with people from more than 60 nations and carried out over 1,000 negotiations. He has given lectures on "Business English" at Aoyama University, Nihon University and Kanagawa University. He joined Doshisha University in 1997.
