Career

Dr. Sun is currently professor of Xi'an Jiaotong University, China. He worked as a Lecturer in the System Analysis Section of the Management School of Xi'an Jiaotong University. Then during the years 1992-1993 he taught in the University of Saint Mary's in Canada as a senior visiting scholar. He was promoted to the position of associate professor in 1990, then full professor and Ph.D. advisor in 1996. From 2001, he assumed the role of vice director of the grade-committee of the Management School and became the director of the EMBA Academic Degrees Guidance Committee. He was also appointed member of the Institute of Systems Science, China, member of the IEEE Computer Society, fellow member of the Society of System Engineering of China and senior member of the Society of Mechanical Engineering of China. He is also deputy chairman of the Committee of Educational System Engineering and vice chairman of the Committee of Industrial Engineering of China.
