Career

After graduating from the Faculty of Economics at Kyoto University, she took a job in banking and then worked for a computer company. In 1999, she established the firm Marketing Excellence Co. Ltd, of which she is currently Managing Director. After some years in the business world, she decided to return to university and obtained her Ph.D. from University of Tsukuba. She then went on to take up teaching posts at the Graduate School of Rikkyo University and Tama art
University in Tokyo. She is also a member of the American Marketing Association
