Career

Dr. Maswana currently holds the post of Associate Professor of Economics and Management and Area Researcher at the University of Kyoto. He has also been a visiting lecturer at the Graduate School of International Cooperation in Kobe University since 2006, and previously held the position of visiting lecturer at the Faculty of Information Science of Nihon Fukushi University (2001-2003). He was also a consultant in overseas operations for the Cosmo Group Inc., in Japan. In addition, he was Assistant in Financial Management as well as Field Research Coordinator at Kinshasa University. He is a member of the American Economic Association, the Japan Association of International Business, the Japan Institute of Negotiation, the Chinese Economist Society, the Association for Evolutionary Economics and the Japan Association for African Studies.
