Mr. Ross Rowbury of Edelman Japan Offers Guest Lecture on Marketing Research

On January 19, DBS was very lucky and excited to have Mr. Ross Rowbury, President of Edelman Japan come to campus to discuss marketing research and its application to advertising and PR success in Japan and globally.

Mr. Rowbury brought a number of real case study examples with him to show exactly how he and his team go about researching and understanding the ideas, thoughts and behaviors of different groups of people, and how they translate that into compelling stories that build trust and authenticity. He also drew insights from both the Edelman Earned Brand research study and the Brand Trust Barometer that Edelman conducts globally each year. We were able to ask many additional questions, and dig more deeply into the concepts that Prof. Sugai presents in his Marketing Research class.

On behalf of our Marketing Research class, and all students and faculty of Doshisha Business School, we'd like to extend our warm thanks to Mr. Rowbury for visiting us, and hope that he'll be available to visit our school again in the near future.
